Four people, including two California paramedics, were injured in a fiery hit-and-run ambulance crash early Sunday.
The accident happened at 4:30 a.m. in Fullerton and involved a CARE ambulance transporting an injured boy and carrying two Orange County paramedics, the fire department said in an online update. A Chevrolet Trax collided with the ambulance and then burst into flames.
The paramedics, a CARE attendant and the boy were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Police are trying to find the SUV driver, who fled the crash scene on foot, according to the Orange County Register.
